Gourmet Italia was founded by Larry E. Pisoni in 1994 when he brought the finest Italian made pasta to the American military bases in Europe and the US. Over the years, inspired by the Mediterranean diet, he added other products: organic extra virgin olive oil from Garda Lake, organic tomato sauce from southern Italy, sea salt and other Italian specialties.
