I select Gourmet Italia products in Italy from artisans of taste: families who are traditionally proud to produce "Healthy, Tasty, Earth Friendly Food."

Americans have been eating the so-called convenience foods, mostly lab manufactured, for the last forty years. The result is that obesity and other nutrition-related problems have become a national emergency. My mission is to send real food to America.

I have decided to call the operation "Care Packages to America" because at the end of WWII Americans were sending care packages to Europe, and I was one of the kids who benefited.  Americans have been eating the so-called convenience foods for the last forty years. The result is that obesity and other nutrition-related problems have become a national emergency. My mission is to send real food to America. Since man does not live on food alone, as acts of gratitude toward the U.S, my adopted country, I dedicated the necessary time to the following two projects: Thank you, America and Origin and Essence of the United States of America.

At Gourmet Italia we support the Humane Society of the United States because we share the same values. For ethical and environmental reasons we believe that cruel, chemical, industrial animal farming should be replaced by humane, organic farming.

I recently found an Italian shoe stylist and producer, who has decided to become a vegan. Consequently, he has created a line of magnificent vegan shoes. Through Gourmet Italia, I am proud to introduce them ASAP to Americans who are interested in eco-animal-friendly shoes with Italian style and quality.
